Dear Father ,
I informed you on telephone about my success in M.Sc. (Chemistry) last night. Thank you for your congratulations and blessings. Father, I understand very well that I could not have achieved the success with distinction without your trust in me and moral support which you and mother have always extended to me.
Now I would seek your advice as to which career I should take up now. Very few options are available. I should join some manufacturing organization as a chemist. Otherwise I have also an option to undertake sugar or alcohol technol-ogy training at Kanpur. This is highly valued qualification in sugar and alcohol manufacturing industry. By obtaining this degree I am sure I can establish myself in private sector very securely.
It is a matter of two years of education more. Of course, financial aspect has to be considered by you. I will not like to be a burden any more on family resources. I am aware that we are planning to marry Ritu this winter, Raj is also a brilliant student who has an ambition to become a doctor. I am aware of the financial constraints. Therefore, I have to act as you think best in the interest of the family. If you wish me to share your financial burden, I can also get a job in Rampur Distillery as a chemist right now.
I hope you will guide me in order that we all may be a happy family in the long run.
With regards from Ritu and Raj,
Yours affectionately,
ABCD
