My dear father,
I am writing this letter because I have no courage to face you. Therefore, through this letter, I seek your pardon for the misbehaviour to my uncle and aunt last night.
I am sure that you will agree with me that their remarks about my being without employment were undesirable. You know that I am very sensitive about this issue. Inspite of my having completed B.E. I have not been able to get a suitable job. I am always under stress and it is very considerate of you and dear mother to encourage me. Your very attitude has sustained me during the last two years. But the remarks of my uncle and aunt hit me where I felt hurt most. I was provoked into using disrespectful words which was never my intention.
Now I realise that I should have exercised control over my feelings. I was unable to do it and it is quite distressing to me. I know they must have left with very poor opinion about me. They left dining table and went to bed without food. In fact all of us did not take food that night. I am aware that you and mother must have had to cut a sorry figure because of my thoughtless behaviour. I am sure that you understand the feelings under the influence of which I uttered undesirable words.
I assure you earnestly that I will not let happen such ugly incident in future. I am also writing to uncle Raghu to seek pardon from him.
With regards,
Yours affectionately,
ABCD
